FIFO Racks

FIFO (First-In, First-Out) racks—commonly known as pallet flow racks or carton flow racks—are high-density storage systems designed to automatically rotate inventory based on age. Items are loaded from a dedicated rear aisle (loading face) and glide down inclined roller or wheel tracks via gravity to the front aisle (picking face). When the front item is removed, the next item automatically moves forward into the picking position.
